Greg Kelaart-Courtney
Greg is a motivated IT Professional and Manager, with extensive international experience in a variety of industry domain specialties, encompassing roles such as;  executive management, project management, consulting, solution design, and the implementation of innovative technological solutions.
During Greg’s tenure with IBM he had initiated and led the Asia Pacific Life Sciences practice as the ‘Technical Leader for Life Sciences’, based in Singapore, and more recently Greg is the CTO CEE&MEA and Distinguished Engineer leading the AIS Solutioning Team for GBS in CEE&MEA based in Dubai. Greg is one of the few people in IBM who currently holds active Executive level IBM Certifications in the Consulting, IT Architecture and Project Management professions.
Greg’s leadership capabilities have been recognized by his executive management and peers as he is a two time winner of the IBM Global Leadership Award in Consulting and Project Management and the recipient of another seventeen technical and leadership awards since 2001.
He has worked extensively in developing and creating solutions which require deep seated skills in converging both business and IT where he has designed the Enterprise Architecture for complicated opportunities. Greg possesses proficient technical, consultative and analytical skills and is adept at providing technical leadership and innovation across a broad range of industries.
Greg also has an extremely strong academic background; he completed his PhD in 2010 with a double 'A', his thesis was titled 'A model of consumer eServices adoption within Dubai', Greg also holds a Master of Science and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Strategic IT. Greg is also an IBM Executive IT Architect and IBM Managing Consultant who also holds current professional certifications with IT and Professional organizations such as AIPM, CompTIA ITPM, ISACA, IEEE, IAPPM, (ISC)2, TOG and PMI.
On the Project Management side, Greg holds two fellowships with the International Association of Project and Program Management (IAPPM) and the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM). Greg is also an IBM Certified Executive Project Manager, with the following Project Management qualifications, FAIPM, FIAPPM, PMP, CPM and Project+.
Greg’s strong management and decision making skills, enables him to facilitate 100% completion of projects within time and budget constraints, without compromising on quality of service or standards.
Greg is also a PADI Master Instructor and an Emergency First Responder Instructor with a passion for sharing his love of diving with his friends and family.
Greg is an avid diver and enjoys traveling with his wife Lisa and daughter Isabela (aka Minxy Moo) who can't wait to see what is around the corner. |
